Get involved

Help a kid get off the sidelines.

Volunteer, pledge, partner, or just stay in the loop. Tell us how you'd like to be involved and we'll be in touch.

Volunteer roles

Two ways to help us launch.

Both take about 3–5 hours a week, whenever it fits your life. Try it for six months, see what you build, and if you love it, stay. Pick the one that sounds like you.

Community Partnerships Lead — Help Us Find the Teams

From home, with the occasional visit to a field, gym, or studio

A lot of Ventura County kids sit out because of a registration fee, not a lack of talent or interest. You'd find the leagues, clubs, studios, STEM programs, and camps kids already love, invite them to partner with us, and collect what we need to pay them directly. Along the way you'll build belonging for kids, a stronger neighborhood, and a network of league leaders, program directors, school staff, and youth organizations who know your name.

A great fit if you're a coach, league volunteer, teacher, robotics mentor, or parent who knows the local youth scene, and you're friendly on the phone and good at following up.

Community Champion — Help Us Fill the Roster

Mostly from home, plus the occasional coffee, tournament, or event

Every great program starts with someone who says, "What if we..." A typical gap is $100–250, and every gift you bring in becomes a season, a uniform, a robotics kit, a spot on the roster. You'd brainstorm and lead fundraising ideas, build a list of local businesses and community groups, make the ask, plan events, and make sure every supporter hears a heartfelt thank-you.

A great fit if you love bringing people together, you're comfortable asking, and you're a good storyteller.

For both roles: we ask that you tell us about any connection to a program or business you approach, and sign a short volunteer agreement. Volunteers and their families aren't eligible for assistance, which keeps things fair for the kids we serve. You'll get the title, a reference letter, a seat at the table as we grow, and the moment you hear a kid is on a team or in a program because of something you did.

Other ways to help

Not a volunteer role? There's still a place for you.

Founding supporters. Pledges made now are honored once our federal determination arrives. Founding supporters will be the first invited to our launch event.

Partners. Leagues, clubs, studios, STEM and arts programs, schools, and local businesses that want to make sure no kid in their program is turned away by cost.

Families. If your child needs help getting into a program, tell us and we'll reach out as soon as we're ready.

We'll never share your information, and we won't flood your inbox.
